Plantee rewards people for eating plant-based. Members snap their meals in the app, every meal gets checked, and each one that passes earns a small cash reward from a pool anyone can add to.

No. Plantee is a company, not a charity or non-profit. Adding to the pool isn't a charitable donation, and it isn't tax-deductible.

Members are in 34 countries so far. The app is invite only, so people join through a friend's code.

Livestock takes about 80% of the world's farmland and gives us 17% of our calories. Every meal that moves to plants frees up land, water and forests, and spares animals.

No. Offsetting pays to cancel out emissions somewhere else while habits stay the same. Plantee pays for the change itself: people choosing plant-based meals. We don't sell carbon credits.

Because asking isn't enough. 84% of people who try eating plant-based give it up, most within the first year. A small reward for every meal is a reason to come back tomorrow, until it's just how you eat.

Every meal passes three checks before any money moves. The photo is taken live in the app, our meal checker looks at the plate, and payouts get reviewed again. Anything unclear goes to a person.

From peer-reviewed food data (Poore & Nemecek, 2018), reduced by a third to stay conservative. Each verified meal counts as about 1.3 kg of CO₂ avoided, 300 litres of water saved and 3.5 m² of land kept wild.
